Colter Wall. Enough Said.

In the same vein as Tom T. Hall, Colter Wall sings a story from the perspective of a man down on his luck wondering how he got to where he is. He may have woken up in the snow with a hangover, but he’s got his health, his Stetson hat, and thirteen silver dollars to his name, so he supposes he’ll be alright.

Wall, a Canadian 22 year old, has a voice that sounds like it belongs to a 60 year old honky tonker who’s been going too hard for too long. The combination of his powerful voice and minimal musical accompaniment prior to the unusual chorus makes for an instant classic.
