Where were you the day the towers fell?
It's a question everyone asks. It's a day that no American citizen who is old enough to remember will forget.
I was in fifth grade. I remember my teacher having us gather around and asking if we heard what happened. Some kids had heard, most had not. I personally didn't understand at the time. I just pictured planes hitting buildings. They weren't alive. They can't die. I didn't understand that so many lives had been lost at first. I quickly learned what it meant. That so much hate caused so much pain. That out country was facing the most deadly terrorist attack in our country's history.
I'll never forget September 11, 2001. Where were you the day the towers fell?
