Brett Eldredge - Brett Eldredge

Illinois-born Brett Eldredge returns with his third album (Christmas album not included) with a half-traditional, half-contemporary/pop album that is carried by his deep voice. If you're pure traditionalist, this may not be your cup of tea, but there are a handful of songs worth checking out.

Tyler Childers - Purgatory

Tyler Childers is as traditional as an artist can be, and if you respect this genre, you will check out this album. In case you need any more convincing, it was produced by the great Sturgill Simpson.

Old Salt Union - Old Salt Union

Another self-titled album, another Illinois-native group. If you're into bluegrass music, Old Salt Union perfects the sound on their fifth and newest album.

Rich O'Toole - God & George Strait

Texas artist Rich O'Toole releases a great new song about growing up and realizing that faults are okay as long as you have something good to lean on. The something good being God and the King. Read the review here.
