WCW: A Little Bit of Boston Country

Sometimes I hear how women aren't represented on country radio. To that, I agree.

Sometimes I hear that it's because there aren't any out there. Bullshit.

If you open your ears and expand your horizons, you'll see that there are countless female country artists out there worth listening to. Just this week, we had the amazing Erin Enderlin on our podcast. We've gushed about Jamie Lin Wilson, Brandy Clark, and Sunny Sweeney multiple times. Carly Pearce has been on our radars since we heard her featured on Josh Abbott Band's album Front Row Seat.

But there's one out there, a little less known and criminally underrated: Chelsey Carter, who sticks to the traditional country sound and delivers a remarkable performance on her recently released EP Nothin' Better to Do. If you're ever doubting the existence of quality country music, let Chelsey smack you upside the head with some kick ass tunes.

I'll forgive her for being a Patriots fan.
